Shop smart...

After a few weeks of steady head-scratching, phone-calling, screen-printing, html-face-pulling, pay-pal-authorising, template breaking, van-delivering, photo-taking, digi-trimming, holographic lasering, tea drinking work...

The shop is nearly here.

Look at the fat button over to the top-right.
Now stop looking at it and click it to see the shop.

You can't buy anything yet but I thought it would be nice to look at it while I fiddle about a bit and wait for these holograms.

  1. Not to nitpick, but your shop seems to be missing $(dollars) from the currency selection... and perhaps a student discount?

  2. Sheesh - you do something creative and suddenly everyone's a critic. :)

At the minute the set up I'm using only has room for two currencies - I think it automatically converts it on the Paypal screen anyway so you can still see the total before you pay.

As far as discount - as soon as the printers, domain providers, delivery drivers, electricity board, internet provider, packaging suppliers and postal service start giving me discounts I'll pass them on :)

  3. OK - I've added USD to the currency selection. But that means I've had to lose the YEN.

So everytime you click the US dollar selection I want you to think about all the people in Japan who can't see things in YEN. Think about them and their children looking at the alien jumble of western currency with a mixture of fear and panic.

    Think about them Axton.

I hope you're happy Axton. I just hope you're happy with what you've done. Those poor, poor non-local-currency-viewing people. Think about them.

I don't know how you sleep at night.

    :)

I will try and figure out a solution - like I say I'm pretty sure it converts it in Paypal. There's only ever two prices anyway - so it's not a major stress.

  4. I will never again take for granted viewing prices in my native currency.

  7. I agree that two currencies is lame but I don't make the rules.
